Dr. Sati Shankar is an independent Indian scholar and applied mathematician whose work is centered on a sustained inquiry into the foundations of reality, order, knowledge, and consciousness.

His research engages deeply with the Ṛg Veda and Brāhmaṇa literature as systematic investigations into Ṛta, Agni, causality, and mind, tracing their development into classical Indian philosophical systems.

His work explores conceptual continuities between Vedic cosmology and modern scientific thought—particularly in relation to energy, emergence, self-organization, and order—while maintaining methodological rigor and conceptual precision.

He also engages with modern mathematical frameworks such as topology, category theory, and decision sciences, treating mathematics as a structural language parallel to early philosophical reasoning.

A central concern of his work is the nature of mind and consciousness, approached through an integrative dialogue between Indian darśanas and contemporary cognitive science and philosophy of science.
